SUSAN L. DANIELS

Ms. Daniels has twenty-nine years of experience in information technology. This
experience includes design, development, implementation, and support of
information technology architectures and systems in a variety of hardware
environments including wireless technologies. She has extensive experience in
strategic planning, technology assessment and implementation, project
management, system development, testing and implementation. While working in
the consulting field, she managed engagements, which included the banking,
manufacturing and field service environments.
Presently, Ms. Daniels is a team member of a large deployment for a field service
company. She is directly responsible for on-site project management, assisting
the customer with identifying the specific metrics used to prove the success of
the implementation project. She is participating in the analysis of data with the
specific objective of developing a statistically valid analysis of the impact of the At
Road technology on the customer’s branch operations.
Ms. Daniels is continually involved in the development of goals and objectives for
customer integration. She is the liaison for the customer, At Road account
manager and software vendor, directing the implementation project to a
successful completion.
Representative Accomplishments
• Team member of the Project Management Office (PMO) for a large
ecommerce B2B startup.com project located in Orlando, FL.; directly
responsible for managing the financial component of the project and client
training.
• Responsible for managing the development of contingency plans for a
Year 2000 project for a large title company located in Northern California.
Additional offices were also located in Southern California, Arizona and
Colorado; Directed the Vendor Management and Inventory Analysis
phases of this project.
• Team member on an IT project which developed and implemented a Year
2000 program office and testing management strategy for a
manufacturing/warehousing company in southern California. A risk
assessment was developed within the first phase of the project.
• Project Manager for Year 2000 project at a large manufacturing
environment. The manager responsibilities included resource allocation,
functional analysis, software analysis, cost and budget estimation, high
level and detailed project plans, program management methodology, unit
and integrated testing.

• Many projects involved extensive involvement with the user. Training,
design of acceptance criteria, help desk support and implementation,
ongoing maintenance and user support were several of the area included
within these projects.
• Member of New York State government agencies for seventeen years,
which involved extensive travel throughout New York State. Some of the
responsibilities included technical support and assistant to the Local Area
Network Administrator for a Novell network. Network administrative duties
have included creating directory structures, user registrations, group
creations, trustee assignments, file sharing authorization and security.
• Manager of computer operations staff while developing data
communication network.
• Involved in all aspects of System design: analyzed user needs, developed
input documents and reports, designed test files, coordinated testing with
project analyst, wrote program specifications, created test materials,
tested and implemented systems, and trained users.
Background
Ms. Daniels has considerable experience in a wide range of computing
technology environments, including IBM, Digital, and Unisys. She has been
involved with the wireless carrier technologies and has held the position of Data
Account Executive for one of the largest wireless carriers. She has also
participated in the development and implementation data repositories and
warehouses.
Ms. Daniels received an Associates degree with a concentration in Computer
Science from Hudson Valley Community College and her Bachelor of Science
degree in Computer Science at Siena College. Recently, she has actively
concentrated on e-commerce, internet courses, and project management. These
courses include web design and publishing, MS FrontPage 2000, Photoshop
5.5, HTML, Dynamic HTML and Cascading Style Sheets, web graphics, CGI
scripting with Perl, JavaScript and XML.
Ms. Daniels is a member of the Project Management Institute; South Carolina
chapter.
